Fujitsu Releases Sixteen New Enterprise PC and Tablet Models in Eleven Product Series

Main Features of the New Products
1. Expanded range of models featuring the latest CPUs
In expanding its product range, Fujitsu has equipped seven models across five series(1) with the latest CPUs and newest OS, enhancing the performance ofthe FUJITSU Notebook LIFEBOOK series of laptops, the FUJITSU Tablet ARROWS Tab series of tablets, and the FUJITSU Workstation CELSIUS series of PC workstations. Moreover, the LIFEBOOK series has been equipped with the latest DDR4 memory to draw out the full performance of the improved CPU.
2. Expanded range of enterprise thin clients in the FUTRO series
Fujitsu is now offering a new desktop thin client, the FUTRO S720/N; a 13.3″ laptop thin client, the FUTRO MS936; and a 15.6″ A4-sized laptop thin client, the FUTRO MA576. Using these PCs with Fujitsu’s virtualization solutions, suited for a variety of purposes and tasks, customers can virtualize the desktop environment, lowering the burden of equipment management and strengthening security by not leaving any data on the PCs.
3. Models that offer long-term support from Microsoft for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1
Microsoft is ending OS support for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 on models using 6th generation Intel Core processors on July 17, 2018, but there are still many businesses using computers running Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. Therefore, by expanding its range of models using 4th and 5thgeneration CPUs(2), which can receive long-term support(3) going forward, Fujitsu is meeting the needs of its customers. Moreover, for all models, Office 2016 has been added to the build-to-order (BTO) menu.
